meet The smart pad

Could you imagine spending the last 3 months of your pregnancy in the hospital?

Today, pregnant women have no alternative but to be hospitalized if doctors suspect a risk of a premature birth. However, almost 9 out of 10 won't deliver before the next 7 days.

There’s a huge amount of unnecessary discomfort, and we can do something about it...

We want to reduce unnecessary hospitalizations

A scientific publication found out that

Only 15% of hospitalized pregnant women will deliver in the first 7 days of hospitalization

Doctors want their patients to be safe.

They lack the tools to monitor them outside of the hospital...

But what if they had them?

Swiss technology to follow your pregnancy

We develop the first non-invasive tool to track the risk of a premature birth in the laboratories of the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and the University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV)

WE ARE WORKING HARD TO BRING THIS TOOL TO PATIENTS

Several obstetricians around the world believe Rea could help their patients

However to comply with the latest European safety regulations, Rea could be available for clinics in 2022.

Our smart pad will go through preclinical studies in the near future in the University Hospital of Lausanne, Switzerland.

In the meantime:

We would like to hear about your pregnancy experience.

Your testimonies help us to improve a future smart pad experience.
