Pregnant women at risk of a preterm birth spend up to three months in the hospital. However, only 30% of these hospitalized patients will deliver preterm.
Doctors want their patients to be safe, but they lack the tools to monitor them outside of the hospital...
But what if they had them?
Professor David Baud, is an obstetrician & gynaecologist and specialist in materno-fetal medicine, and is presently Head of the Service of Obstetrics at the Lausanne University Hospital, Switzerland.
Prof. Baud believes we can improve the lives of pregnant women.
He spoke to the Swiss media about Rea.
